Having examined 42 patients with chronic obstructive lung disease, the authors focused upon clinical functional parameters that characterised the life quality (SAT‑test, dyspnoea index by MRC scale, 6 minutes walking test, and BODE index), depending on hypoxemia. As reported, the patients with hypoxemia had the SAT‑test balls reliably higher and the dyspnoea more evident (MRC‑test). The SAT test appears to be simple and efficient method of estimating effect of hypox‑emia on the patients’ health.
